Beside that, good of information also has benefit that is :

                      High quality information can significantly improve the chances of making a good    decision.


Good decisions can directly impact an organization's bottom line.

Beside that, IT is a relatively new function area formally around 4o years.

• Chief Privacy Officer         (CPO)
• Chief Knowledge Office     (CKO)      

The Gap Between Business Personnel and IT Personnel

Business personnel possess in functional areas such as marketing, accounting and sales.

IT have technological expertise and this typically cause has gap between that.

Beside that, if u want to know in organizational fundamental also has ETHICS n SECURITY. If the business want to be success they need to has ethics n security.

• ETHICS - means the principle and standards that guide our behavior toward other people

• PRIVACY - to have control over your own personal possessions, NOT to be observed without your consent

Organizational information is intellectual capital, so it must be protected. If we not protect the information it will give effect at our business.

So, we has INFORMATION SECURITY - means the protection information from accidentally person inside or outside an organization.

1. Key Performance Indicator - measures that are tied to business drivers. Metrics are detailed measures that feed KPIs.
2. Efficiency IT Metric - measures the performances of the IT system itself including throughput, speed, and availability.
3. Effectiveness IT Metric - measures the impact IT has on business processes and activities including customers satisfaction, conversion rates and sell through increases

 BENCHMARKING - a process of continuously measuring system result, comparing those result to

 optimal system performance benchmark value and identifying steps and procedures to improve system

 performance.

ok now we already finish for the chapter 1 n 2..now i want to share n explain about chapter 3. strategic initiative for implementing competitive advantages it is the main topics for this chapter.

WHAT is strategic initiatives ????

strategic initiative means organizations can undertake high-profile strategic initiative including :

• Supply Chain Management ( SCM )
• Customers Relationship Management ( CRM )
• Business Process Re engineering ( BPR )
• Enterprise Resources Planning ( ERP )  

Under supply chain management has 4 basic components :

1. supply chain strategy
2. supply chain partner
3. supply chain operation
4. supply chain logistics

Customers Relationship Mnagement is not just technology but strategy, process and business goal.

CRM can enable an organization to :

• identify type of customers
• design individual customer maketing campaigns
• treat eacg customer as an individual
• understand customer buying behaviors

Business Process Re engineering the analysis and redesign of workflow within and between enterprises

Purpose of BPR :  to make all business processes best in class.

Beside that, a company can improve the way it traveis the road by moving from foot to horse and then horse to car.

BPR looks at taking a different path, such as an airplane which ignore the road completely.

Enterprise Resources Planning integrate all departments and functions into a single IT system.

Keyword in ERP is " ENTERPRISE "

Rasa besyukur sangat sebab masih di beri peluang untuk melihat matahari,menghidu udara dan melihat pemandangan yg terlalu indah ni .tiba2 lak berpuitis..hee.. YES semua org perlu bersyukur dengan apa yg diaorang memiliki n nikmati.. 

Ok la kali ni ak nk share ngan korang about satu penyakit ni.rasa mcm ramai yg penah dengar nama penyakit ni tp xtau apa kebenda penyakit tu. sbb kita xpenah ambil port pon kn pasal penyakit2 nie sbb kita pikir kita muda lgi kn ssh dapt penyakit. actually is it WRONG!!! k.. zaman sekarang xkira muda ke tua ke semua ad penyakit termasuk la saya..

Agak terkejut jugak la bila ak di sahkan ad penyakit THYROID jenis HYPERTHYROIDISM. 1st ingatkn thyroid ni satu jenis je rupanya banyak jenis.hee..k, ak nk share ngan korang symptoms2 dia n skit2 maklumat yg ak dapat k.

Hyperthyroidism Symptoms

Symptoms and their severity depend on duration and extent of thyroid hormone excess, and the age of the individual. Individuals may experience:

• Nervousness and irritability
• Palpitations and tachycardia
• Heat intolerance or increased sweating
• Tremor
• Weight loss or gain
• Increase in appetite
• Frequent bowel movements or diarrhea
• Lower leg swelling
• Sudden paralysis
• Shortness of breath with exertion
• Decreased menstrual flow
• Impaired fertility
• Sleep disturbances (including insomnia)
• Changes in vision
• Photophobia, or light sensitivity
• Eye irritation with excess tears
• Diplopia, or double vision
• Exophthalmos, or forward protrusion of the eyeball
• Fatigue and muscle weakness
• Thyroid enlargement
• Pretibial myxedema (fluid buildup in the tissues about the shin bone; may be seen with Grave's disease)

Hyperthyroidism Treatment

The treatments discussed here are for all causes of hyperthyroidism except for subacute thyroiditis. Subacute thyroiditis typically gets better without any specific treatment.

The treatment options for hyperthyroidism caused by Graves' disease or nodular thyroid disease are divided into two sections.

1. treatments that decrease thyroid hormone production, and
2. symptomatic treatment to alleviate the effects of excess thyroid hormone.

Although the most common treatment of overactive thyroid disease is radioactive iodine ablation, many patients are initially treated with antithyroid medication to normalize thyroid hormone levels prior to either radioactive iodine ablation or thyroidectomy.

Surgery is used to treat hyperthyroidism if the patient requires a quick reduction in thyroid hormone levels such as during pregnancy.
